I think Africa is not the only country that experiences mailing problems Ronda (small comfort?).  I ordered some plastic sewing needles from my usual supplier a while ago and despite it having tracking after it left Bejing it vanished.  It has never arrived here and it has been at least 3 months now.  I ordered another batch and thankfully they have arrived, but I do wonder what happened to that first lot.....

I always hope it wasn't on a plane that went down or a ship that sunk. :( For the sake of the victims I mean.  That's one way mail vanishes unfortunately.  I just ordered a pack of yarn needles from China too, they arrived smartly.  Most orders from China get here super fast. I love their free shipping, it helps me a lot.

That's great news. Do miss sending parcels for the children:)

Photographs taken on 26th November when Ronda and Wandi spent time with the gogo groups - collecting blankets, ululating, singing, dancing and speechifying with them all!  We paid for all the blankets collected and delivered more blankets packs at the same time, with wool, needles and other bits.

Ronda's lovely Canadian visitors helped this Tuesday at KAS and took photographs of some of the 180 blankets from Chiawell - we were very grateful. It took Gary and his son, Roger, all morning to do that and they were exhausted at the end of it!

The Naledi blankets will be photograph next Tuesday - along with Wandi's birthday party celebration!

Than k you, Pam, for these photos. What a wonderful collection of blankets. 180 children who will be warmer.

Great photos! Pam, thank you very much for them!

Fabulous - thank you. I love the blankets - such character. I saw a good array on FB

Great photos, lovely to see all those beautiful, colourful blankets sewn up and ready to distribute! Well done GoGo's!

Bless the Gogos ! Such a lot of work and so many wonderful blankets ! Thank goodness they can have a bit of compensation for their efforts.

Totally agree, Sue.  :))

Here are some opening pics from Tuesday.  Ronda's dear friends arrived from Canada and got dragged into the office to help and take photographs of all the blankets!

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."

Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
