We have an office again!

Thanks to our members prayers and generosity we have these lovely clean and modern offices to work from!

The volunteer team turn up each week to sort your squares, hand warmers, tops, hats and cuddlies so that more and more vulnerable and deprived children are given a sense that they are valued and cared for!

Yippee!

Such awesome news!!  Yeah!!  What a great "Christmas gift", to know that we can start sending our square "hugs" (among other things!!) to S. Africa again!!

i spotted one of my parcels I am so glad it got there ok. will be sending another after christmas

Yippee so glad that the strike has finally ended.  Happy opening.  Also, I know it's early but Seasons Greetings to everyone, keep happy, healthy, knitting and crocheting!xx

What a lovely pile of goodness!  So glad it finally got through.  Hopefully you will have lots of help with opening and sorting :) xo

The team managed to open half of them today! They'll be playing catch-up for some time to come. It is likely that the local PO depot will call them regularly to take away the piles of parcels that must be stuck in the pipeline!  Should have some pics over the weekend, hopefully!

Thanks Pam.

STEP ONE - THE OFFICE BEFORE SHELVING!

STEP TWO:  The office with shelving.

Note from Wendy...

I am so excited about the shelves.  You cannot believe what a difference it makes.  We have stacked the blankets in batches of 10 which makes counting them a breeze – we currently have 430 blankets (not including the fleece and baby blankets).  The shelves give us so much more space that we can now use to store the other items such as beanies, tops, toys etc.

I am currently storing unopened mail on the bottom shelf, but we should manage to open all of that within the next week which will free up that space.

What a wonderful sight, looking at the shelves so full of beautiful blankets! So many squares.....

CREATECARE GLOBAL

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."

Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
