Hi Everyone.
New Year - New (updated) Discussion.
To simplify things (and for me 'simple' is ALWAYS better...lol) we have decided to combine two of your favourite discussions: Yarn-aholics Therapy and Anyone Feel Like A Chat? We thank Jeni (Harrison's Mum) and Kalai for initiating these wonderful avenues for sharing, which will be archived and still available for reading and reminiscing.
I know I've laughed, cried and commiserated with many of you over the years and so it is my pleasure to offer you this opportunity to continue to share with your friends in 'Share A Yarn?'
Who doesn't love to share a yarn?...Well, I probably prefer to share a yarn (tale) than share a yarn (my stash)...lol.
So all you lovely folk, let's keep things humming along.....well maybe 'humming' is not a good word to use in my case. I recently learned from my hubby that he doesn't like my humming...only took him almost 32 years to tell me.....but I think it may also have taken him 31+ years to work out WHY I hum. When I'm happy, I tend to sing (or la, la, la, as I never know all the words to a song)....but when I'm tired (I think to keep myself awake) irritated or just plain CROSS, I hum.....LOL.
There you go...there's my first 'yarn to share'.
I look forward to seeing and/or reading yours...please share....you are among friends. :))

Oh geez Bev, that gave me the giggles....you shoving bleating sheep into your closets and trying to get them into your yarn bins, LOL!
Yes, I REALLY WOULD have a lot of explaining to do....lol....there would be heads and legs hanging out of everything.
Not to mention the noise....hubby would think he was hearing things!
This is a cute crocheted Christmas tree made of 3 granny squares folded in half...very clever and quick to make for a gift for family and friends.
So simple and yet sooooo effective.
And everyone but me can do Granny Squares. LOL!
In keeping with the season I wanted to share this photo of "Bob" the snowman a friend's daughter made.
Now the big discussion is how many times that nose will need to be replaced as the deer keep eating it!
A GREAT snowman!!!
we had our first frost in the uk today its lovely to feel the cold again after the mild and wet weather we have been having
It was 1.6C this morning......anyone would think we were in the middle of Winter instead of a week away from Summer.
Oh Bev, that's no fun for you whatsoever! :( I hope it warms up for you very soon. One thing I like to think of while bundling up over here is those of you on the other side of the world from us basking in the warmth of sunny days! I don't want to think of you shivering as well. :(
Awww, thanks Jeanne.......what a difference a day (or two) makes. It is 16.8C this morning and it was about 28C yesterday arvo....but its been raining lightly on and off since yesterday arvo.....lol.....
