Hi KASfriends.
Well, its that time of year again; time for a new beginning, a new discussion.....so.....
Won't you share a thought or two?
A joke...or maybe a story?
Perhaps a snippet of your day?
Or your life in all its glory......
I invite you, one and all, to visit this new 2015 discussion and share whatever is on your mind.....the good, the bad...and the not too ugly.
Remember, you are among friends.
Even kittens like to share a yarn......
The 2014 Share A Yarn? discussion will be archived, but still available for reading and reminiscing.

Ah a knitting row counter----okay that present makes a ton more sense now Gloria. It could be very useful indeed if knitting while a passenger in a car or on a plane. I love the one your grandson made, that's super and as you say, very practical indeed.
You're right, Jeanne. And I'm often a passenger in a car, so it will be very handy indeed if we head west again in the spring :))) xo
Sorry I thought your husband was clueless, turns out he's right on the ball, lol. I am so used to men finding neat gadgets they think are awesome and we think are ho-hum, I kinda lumped him in with all of them. My apologies and high fives to your hubby!
You are forgiven Jeanne ... hahaha We both had a good laugh over the confusion caused by this little item :)) xo
I'm so glad you explained what it was. I was thinking it was an Apple Watch or Fitbit type of gadget. A row counter? Genius! Do you find it awkward to wear while you're knitting?
Barb, I'm glad I explained it, as well. I'm afraid folks were thinking "not-so-lovely" thoughts about Don ... hahahaha
So far, I haven't tried knitting or crocheting while wearing it ... only Tunisian crochet and I find it doesn't interfere at all. The strap is really adjustable so it can be moved to any finger you want to wear it on. Since some techniques require different finger movements, it would need to be moved according to what you're doing.
And so far, I haven't forgotten to remove it before going out to dinner. I just don't have a thing to wear it with ... :) xo
hahahahahaha I imagined you wearing something all silver and plastic and metal from some sci-fi movie Gloria. Quite the image!
Yeah, c'mon, Glo....show us YOUR outfit...you know, the one you were going to wear to the casino....I know you like a bit of metallic....lol.
View in our backyard. Still wonderfully mild for us, not near even -20 never mind -40. :)
That's soooo beautiful, Jeanne. :)) Thanks for sharing.
We are expecting 38C, today....was amazed when I saw that the ski resort of Thredbo (in eastern Oz) was expecting 12C today......unbelievable difference....right now, I wish I was there.
Jeanne, this is a beautiful picture!
We got snow yesterday and it's still snowing a bit. When I was young I always loved winter. I would be outside skating, sliding, sledding, making snowballs and snow angels ... it was fun. Now if I'm outside in the winter I'm just slipping and sliding and possibly falling! So I'm not overly fond of the white stiff anymore. But I have to admit, it is pretty to look at :)
My favorite winter sport is now cozying up in my chair with some yarn and a good pattern :)) xo
