NATURE'S BEAUTY

I'd like us this month to get back to nature.   The beauty of the seasons, landscapes and the animals on our Earth are around us all.

There is so much we can look to, and inspire the children with, in our knitting and crocheting.   The marvels of creation are superb and can be defty applied and represented in our makes as they are made of such variety and colour.

8" squares, hats, hand-warmers and completed blankets are all encouraged for us to craft.

Our colour of the month is GREEN

Here's a lovely song which I feel is pretty apt for this theme:

Terrific.   Color, pattern, texture ... this blanket has it all.

I was drawn to use this chunky wool from my stash for this theme as it made me think of waterfalls and dreamy blue skies...   The 500 grams made a baby blanket and 2 hats.

It's a beauty, Karen.   I like the colors but especially like the basketweave pattern you chose.   Very pretty.

Merci si tu peux me répondre.

Mireille. Merci pour ces compliments. Je vous enverrai le patron par message en anglais donc j'espère que vous pourrez le traduire. Faites-moi savoir si vous luttez. Kx

That’s a lovely cosy blanket Karen - also love the basketweave pattern.

Oh what pretty, PRETTY yarn, Karen!!! LOVE the  basketweave pattern, too.  :))

So lovely Karen, both the colours and the pattern :)

I gathered all the leftover yarns in shades of green, including the fuzzy, fluffy neon one, and made enough squares for a blanket.   The fuzzy, fluffy stuff is misery to work, but it makes such a soft and enticing square when done that it is worth the effort (in small doses).

Sharon you have produced a masterpiece!!   Very clever indeed ❤️.  I have done exactly the same by gathering all my greens + am almost done knitting a set of handwarmers.   Great minds think alike!!  Thank you Xx

Sharon that’s stunning I love all the greens- you certainly have an eye for colour combinations!

This is MAGNIFICO, Sharon!! Absolutely LOVING all the different squares in different combos and patterns that come together sooooo well.
