I'd like us this month to get back to nature.   The beauty of the seasons, landscapes and the animals on our Earth are around us all.

There is so much we can look to, and inspire the children with, in our knitting and crocheting.   The marvels of creation are superb and can be defty applied and represented in our makes as they are made of such variety and colour.

8" squares, hats, hand-warmers and completed blankets are all encouraged for us to craft.

Our colour of the month is GREEN

Here's a lovely song which I feel is pretty apt for this theme:

A masterpiece in green Sharon!

It has been a while since I have been able to contribute to KAS. 4 years ago I became a mom for the first time and shortly after my first daughter was born, I was blessed with another baby girl. They both kept my hands tied for a couple of years, but they have grown and I find myself getting more time to focus on my crochet work again.

For the first time in a couple of years, I have been able to finish a couple of blankets. They are (mostly) green and  I thought they fit nicely in this month's theme!

Well what a fan-tab-ulous return to crocheting for KAS Kim.   Congratulations on becoming a mother twice over ✔️✔️.   Your makes look superbly neat and are most welcome in this theme.   Thank you!

WOW!   Fabulous work, Kim.   All three blankets are winners, but I'm sure that soft, fluffy edging will be a real treat for a lucky child.

Three BEAUTIFUL blankets, Kim!! My fave is the middle one.....and loving the soft border on the third.  :))

Congrats on becoming a Mum, twice over. May they bring you many years of joy.  xo

Fantastic blankets Kim!

Welcome back! What a lovely trio of blankets you have made Kim :)

Here's a set of 10 diagonal squares knit in the CoM to represent grass, and I've sewn on fun little flowers.   I was recently given half a ball of chunky green wool, so I knit a plain hat and added the last appliques to cheer it up a bit!

Karen, you've done it again.   These festive daisy squares will be terrific in a blanket, and so much fun for the children.

What a GORGEOUS collection of greens, Karen!!!! LOVING your pretty daisies.  :))

Oh Karen I remember your red daisy squares I opened and loved. Athelé standing next to me loved them as well so sadly I gave them to her for her blanket. If I’m lucky enough to open your parcel with these in it I’m definitely not sharing these fabulous squares with anyone.

Oh Estelle what a sweet comment to make, and what a terrific memory you must have considering the number of squares that pass your eyes!!   My pleasure ♥️
