This is going to be a very exciting month.  Most of the children in the Northern Hemisphere are heading back to school this month.

Thanks for hosting.

Thank you Karen for hosting this educational theme for September. In my head your theme was July.... so unfortunately I wasnt prepared for Amy’s theme then, but I am for yours now........

The border colours look a strange choice, but they are the came colours as the letters.

What a great blanket Chris, I think the colours are lovely. It must have taken you ages to sew all your appliqués on, but it was certainly worth it.

Marion, the letters are not individual appliqués, each row of letters is a strip of fabric, I’m not sure that my fingers could have coped, the fabric was more than enough for me!

Chris, thank you very much for this blanket.   It's certainly a great start to our theme this month.   You certainly have the centre panel style blanket nailed.

Amy's loss is Karen's gain - and it certainly won't matter to the lucky child who receives this blanket that the kind lady in the UK who made it got her months in a muddle! Fabulous work, Chris.

Another Terrific blanket, Chris.   I love the colors on the letters.

That is a lovely blanket - well done!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, Chris!!! I LOVE your choice of colours for the borders, whether they match the letters or not...this is one pretty AND educational blanket. Well done!!

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s ideas for this month, Karen. It’s always a fun theme.

Oh, these are wonderful, Karen.

CREATECARE GLOBAL

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."

Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
