I am wondering if any of you wonderfully talented and creative people can offer some suggestions for small, easy-to-knit or crochet items to use as give-aways.

The RJSK are hosting an event for Knit-in-Public day in June.  We want to have a number of small items that we have made to give to anyone who makes a $$ donation to our postage fund.  We were thinking of things like dish cloths, coasters, book marks, keychains ... etc.

If anyone has ideas or patterns they could share with us, we would really appreciate it?

Thanks :) xo

    • Anneke, that is a terrific idea!!!  Thank you so much for the idea and for sharing the link! xo

    • That is sooo sweet, Anneke....what a great idea.  :))

      • Thank you so much Bev. I immediately thought is was fun :)

  • Felt wool sweaters and make coasters or catnip mice.  Also can make dryer balls from feltable wool.  You make the balls then felt.  Use 3-4 in dryer instead of dryer sheets or fabric softner in washer..

    • Great ideas!

    • Another terrific project idea, Jan.  Thank you! xo

  • I agree with Jeanne ... I love those easy socks!

You have all been so helpful.  So far, I've made some keychains (2" squares :) and a needle case.  I  just wish I had time to try everything.  Eventually, however, I WILL!!! xo

    • Oops, just re-read the TITLE of your discussion, Glo....the owl is probably not quick and easy when you are trying to make a few of them, but there were heaps of pretty, quick and easy, phone socks online....and maybe these would not tick the 'small' box of your request either.....lol.

  • My dear KASfriends ... what a treasure trove of fabulous ideas.  Putting two heads together (or in our case ... many heads :) solves a problem in "jig time"!   THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!!! xo
