It’s that time of year when we start to think of gift giving to

special people. Joy Evans posted a great idea  in

Let’s Talk Shop, so we have come up with the following gift

suggestion for some VERY special people.

At various times throughout the year, our team in South Africa worry that financial difficulties might affect what we are able to do for the children. This Christmas, why not give them a priceless gift - Peace of Mind.

Please give whatever you can afford, as every dollar helps, whether it be $5, $10, $15 or more. Let us know in this discussion if you have sent a gift and please make a note "Peace of Mind” on your Paypal payment. We will ask Leanne to keep us updated on the total and it will be posted in this discussion about once a week.

Gifting ends December 31, 2018.

I set up a Paypal account so I was able to make a donation to this fundraising campaign.  Let's give some Peace of Mind to our friends in SA!

Well done, Joy. We both got there in the end.

Thanks Joy - for your gift AND for your perseverance with Paypal (and of course for the original suggestion which started this whole thing off).

Just a reminder - you only have 31 days left to send some Peace of Mind to

Ronda and her team.

Anne, I've just made a donation to Peace of Mind. I have resisted all temptation to buy more yarn in the Big November Sales and Black Friday emails! (it's been hard!) so I've done some shopping in the Kas Shop instead.

Thank you Marion!  I know how tempting those sales are.  Fortunately my own stash cupboard is so full, I was able to resist too (but it wasn't easy!).

Dear Anne,

I have just made a donation through Paypal to be split between Postage costs and Peace of Mind

Diane

Thank you so much, Diane!

I just received an update from Leanne: "Just to let you know that the total amount that came in this week through the “Peace of Mind” fundraiser is $175. Thank you again for setting this up.

That means our grand total so far is now $235.

Thank you to all of you who have contributed to Peace of Mind!

Reminder - Gifting for Peace of Mind ends December 31 - 27 days left.

Thank you, Anne and Leanne, for providing this update.  What a generous group of crafters we have!

And I just love the idea of sending Ronda and her team some Peace of Mind for Christmas ... xo

Dear Anne and Joy,

Thank you so much for your creativity and dedication to KAS.   Such a simple idea, but so easy for us to access, and so nice to think that the staff in South Africa might be able to enjoy Christmas without worry.

I have just made my donation through PayPal.

Cheers and Best Wishes to all KAS folk.

The Donate button provides 2 options:

Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more].  Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees.  Thank you!
