I've enjoyed this theme, working on a variety of rediscovered patterns. Here are a couple more.

Wow!! Two BEAUTIES, Patricia!!

I have pondered and simply can't pick a fave. I love the delicate lacy effect of the bottom one, but also love the jacquard-style of the top one....both sooo pretty!

Your squares are all so pretty Patricia. I love your snowflake pattern.

Love your two red and white squares, Patricia.  Made me think of folk art designs on Scandinavian knitwear.   My favourite the top one with the diamond motif. The

I hope I will be forgiven for being so late to this party.  I really love the idea for this theme and have enjoyed looking at all the gorgeous work from everyone.  You have all done a fantabulous job and the blankets created from this month's theme squares are going to be spectacular!

I had planned to contribute more this month - just as I had planned to contribute more last month and the month before and the month before that :(  Unfortunately, my life had other plans.

Anyway, I'm sliding in just under the wire here with these two swing needle patterns.  A very dear friend and I have decided that a much better description of this technique would be 'double row' knitting.  So here are my double row squares (aka swing needle) in "CoM brown"/ cream, and blue (what else?) / mauve :) ... xo

Susan, you have done a remarkable job hosting this month.  Your contributions and your encouragement are truly an inspiration to us all.  Thank you!

GORGEOUS squares, Glo!!

Although the colour contrast and stitch is very eye-catching in the left square, I am very drawn to the one on the right...it is just soo pretty.

I feel I will be begging forgiveness, too. I had plans for November...keep it simple, achieve more..no sewing of appliques...but time is always the unknown!!  :((

Two winners Gloria - love the blue one.

Good to hear from you, Gloria, and thank you for your lovely comments on this month’s theme, and for your two squares.  My favourite has to go to the blue and white one - I can never resist that colour combination.

Two beatifully neat squares Glo, I love them both :))

I really like both of them - can't pick a favourite!

I’m echoing Gloria’s comments here, I haven’t participated as much as I would have liked lately.
I’ve been admiring everyone’s work - a great two colour challenge indeed.

I have one more to post tomorrow but here are 5 Waffle Squares with a variegated heart.

Oh my word, Marion, these are so "love"ly.  They're sure to put a smile on a little one's face.

And your colours are none to shabby either ... haha
