One of my other favourite things are picture squares, with either appliques or stitching.

Colour of the month is:
BROWN
Some might say brown is pretty boring, but when I think brown, I think chocolate, chocolate cake, fudge, salted caramel, cinnamon, gingernut biscuits, gingerbread......and brown just doesn't seem so boring anymore.
Dig deep (in your stash) and find YOUR inner brown. :))

Bev, these are fabulous!! What incredibly gorgeous yarn. I just love the way the colours fell in all these squares.
If this yarn was in my stash, it could very well be my favorite ... or ... well ... at least if there was no blue yarn also in my stash, I mean ... hehehe ... xo

Thanks Sharon. I had been itching to try this yarn that I had had for a while, because of some sqs you had created a while ago. I think it must have been these ones, though in my memory I thought yours had more purple/deeper purple in them....hahaha.

I feel honored to have inspired you in any little way, Bev. Who knows, the camera might have been playing tricks with colors as the photo got posted originally, so your memory was accurate but the camera wasn't.

Colours of the month. Lilac has not been a Colour of the Month yet, but it is one of my favourite colours.
I hope a little girl likes the blanket.

Mtoto Tembo (Baby Elephant)
I looked up Swahili for Baby Elephant, I hope I got it right.
Elephants have been my favourite animal for as long as I can remember and baby elephants are so cute.
Sorry I had to add the photos like this, but they kept disappearing when I uploaded the normal way.
