Welcome to our November theme
Put on a Happy Face.
This month was going to be hosted by our dear friend, Anne Powell. Sadly, Anne passed away suddenly, in March.
Looking through her photos has sure put a smile on my dial. I have included some of her fun faces in the picture squares below. They are the little pink pig and the yellow/red and blue/blue variegated smiley faces.
Faces of all kinds are so engaging and just looking at them can put a smile on our own.
Squares featuring animal faces
Fun Emojis....
And all manner of fun faces
If picture squares are not your thing, please consider making striped or single colour squares in colours that will have you putting on a happy face.
And for your toe tapping pleasure...

Estelle, I’m afraid this is my last ‘farm face’. I have a blanket on my hook now :))
I love donkeys too, Chris....though I haven't seen one in a good many years.
LOVE your donkey square. :)) I have never heard of this song, but it is very sweet. xo
Hahaha, I had forgotten that saying, Mili......yes, I haven't seen a donkey in donkey's years....hahaha.
Karen, what talented and generous friends you have. Thank you to all of them!!! All of the toys are absolutely adorable, but Superman in the back row really caught my eye.
Your blanket of odds and ends is perfection. Doesn't it feel good to be able to use up those pesky little balls of yarn that don't hold enough for a square on their own? Great job ... xo
SUPER job, Team Karen on the blanket!! LOVING the stripes!!
Thank you, thank you, to your friends for this fun collection of toys. :)) Like Glo, my eyes were drawn to Superman, but also am LOVING the hand puppets and am imagining the stories they will help to create. :))
Loving all the gorgeous toys; the puppets will be fun, and superman is going to make a little boy very happy! I can understand the happy feeling of using up odds and ends, it is very satisfying, you also have super supportive friends, thanks to all ! :))
Some more pug puppies.....

Bev, your pug puppies (and your background squares) are beyond adorable! Anne would LOVE these.
I love your song choice because of a memory it brought to mind. When I was a young girl, I worked in a bake shop. At closing time, my Dad would come to pick me up. He would come into the shop singing, "How much is that cookie in the window? The one with the chocolate on top (or some variation :). How much is that cookie in the window? I do hope that cookie's for sale." xo
Aww, what a sweet memory, Glo. :)) I sing it to Charlotte, as my Mum used to sing it to me. xo
Very cute pugs.... I love the large one in the yellow square. x
