Welcome to our November theme
Put on a Happy Face.
This month was going to be hosted by our dear friend, Anne Powell. Sadly, Anne passed away suddenly, in March.
Looking through her photos has sure put a smile on my dial. I have included some of her fun faces in the picture squares below. They are the little pink pig and the yellow/red and blue/blue variegated smiley faces.
Faces of all kinds are so engaging and just looking at them can put a smile on our own.
Squares featuring animal faces
Fun Emojis....
And all manner of fun faces
If picture squares are not your thing, please consider making striped or single colour squares in colours that will have you putting on a happy face.
And for your toe tapping pleasure...

Awww, Bev, wouldn't Anne be tickled with your "Meeka" square! Well done:)
Your intro is great and I love the squares you've chosen to post for inspiration. Seeing the zebra square reminds me of a couple that Anne had made a few years ago - one in particular that really put a 'happy' on my face. Here are Anne's "Zebra Head" and "Zebra Leaving" squares. I hope they will make you smile ... xo
The clip you've included in your intro is priceless. I used to love Dick Van Dyke. He always managed to look like he was made of rubber ... hahaha
I think Zebra Leaving has to be one of my favourite squares :))
These are hilarious! Of course the Zebra Leaving is brilliant but the Zebra Head is a really clever idea too.
I agree, Patricial Anne had a wonderful sense of humor and we had a good chuckle ... more than once ... over her "zebra leaving" square ... xo
Thank you so much for posting Anne's squares, Glo. I remembered that someone had done these a few years back, but had in my head that it was Christine Johnson. I obviously didn't go far back enough in Anne's, or I would have found them. :))
Yes, Dick Van Dyke is a funny man.
Oh what fun, really made me grin ✔️
Super cute square, Bev. Love the little pug.
Thanks Bev for hosting this theme for Anne; I remember she offered to host when no one else put their hand up. Well, you have found some great faces..... and put a smile on my dial :))
I have no doubt that Anne would be chuffed that Meeka featured in a yellow square to start this months theme!
Chris, what a cute square!! And you're right ... our Anne was definitely a lover of doggies :))) ... xo
Aww, he is really cute, Chris!! LOVE his 'frame'.
