Unfortunately I didn't get any squares done this weekend despite my best intentions. I was roped into a fundraising charity garage sale for a women's domestic violence shelter and we raised over $1000 so it was still time well spent. I'll be making up for it this weekend though!
You should see my donated stash though! It's going to take me a while to power thorough it all :-)

Hi Allison.
Don't stress!!!! What you were participating in was also very important and worthy of your time and effort. I know how you feel...sometimes I will have a weekend planned and how many squares I plan on knitting...what yarn I want to use and I am in dreamland, in anticipation.....and then something comes up and I achieve little or nothing......been there, done that soooo many times.....just don't stop dreaming and anticipating....it will go according to plan...eventually....lol.
Thanks Bev. I always knit on the bus too and from work, so I did that this morning. I dropped a needle under the seat and it rolled away so a few people engaged in a search and rescue mission in the middle of a crowded bus, which was very nice of them.
Sorry, but the mental image of that is just soooo funny......LOLOLOL. Wasn't that nice of other commuters to help you retrieve it ????!!!!!.
I hope the rest of your day goes better. :))
I am doing a square this morning using a variegated with a fluffy mohair knitted together as the variegated was too thin...it is taking forever!!! Your little mishap was just the chuckle I needed. Thank you. :))
The Donate button provides 2 options:
Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:
1. Make a donation whenever you are able.
2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).
3. Shop at the KasShop!

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
