Can we try and spark some interest and conversation through our crafting this month to help the children learn....?

Letters, numbers, small words, colours, shapes, animals and nature are all superb ideas to stimulate their brains.

The designs, colours and ideas can all familiarise items, words and colours to aid their memories and make them feel clever and happy.

The colour of the month for our PJ's is BLUE

which is a great colour to represent water, the sea and sky in our work.

It has also recently been suggested that BLACK and WHITE squares are needed by the volunteers at The Barn In South Africa.I'm looking forward to seeing your imaginations run wild as you post any makes for us all to be inspired by too.......Hats, handwarmers, squares and blankets are what are really needed.

Happy crafting members, Karen xx

Thank you Patricia, I shall have a look for it as I think it looks so effective.

WOAH!    Hasn't your curiosity given rise to some magnificent flourish to your perfect knitting.    Very nice indeed ❤️

Lovely - I love to see the multi coloured yarn shown off by knitting in different directions .  SOMEwhere I have a pattern for about a dozen different ways to knit a square in different directions - maybe I will come across it while looking for my knitted ball toy pattern lol

16 aran weight blue squares, from top left, Denim, Cloud, Royal & Cornish

Ooooh, such pretty colors, and perfect stitching!

So neat, Diane. Beautiful blues.

WOW!! These are such pretty shades and the stitching so VERY neat, Diane. The ladies will be so thrilled to receive these in S.A.

Perfect squares in lovely shades of blue :))

These are outstanding examples of CoM PJ knitting Diane -  Thank You X

Squares in teal blue for Colour of the Month. I confess this wouldn't be my choice of colour but it was in a pack of yarns I received for Christmas. For once the colour actually looks prettier in the photo than in real life but I'm sure Estelle and the team will find them a good home!

Well, Patricia, more than once I've heard the expression, "One man's trash is another man's treasure" and I have to say it applies here (sort of :)  This colour may not be your first choice, but it's very high up on my list of likes!  Your squares are gorgeous in colour and design.  I'm confident they will find a very good home :)) ... xo

I'm with you, Gloria.  I put teal up near the top of my favorites list.

These squares are beautifully made, Patricia, with so much fun texture that children will enjoy touching and feeling.   I wish you liked the color as much as we do!
