EDUCATE ME
Can we try and spark some interest and conversation through our crafting this month to help the children learn....?
Letters, numbers, small words, colours, shapes, animals and nature are all superb ideas to stimulate their brains.
The designs, colours and ideas can all familiarise items, words and colours to aid their
memories and make them feel clever and happy.
The colour of the month for our PJ's is BLUE
which is a great colour to represent water, the sea and sky in our work.
It has also recently been suggested that BLACK and WHITE squares are needed by the volunteers at The Barn In South Africa.I'm looking forward to seeing your imaginations run wild as you post any makes for us all to be inspired by too.......Hats, handwarmers, squares and blankets are what are really needed.
Happy crafting members, Karen xx

These squares look very pretty Patricia. It's the thought of using Christmas gift wool to busy your hands for the South African children that pleases me most ❤️
They are lovely teal squares Patricia :)) I was never a fan of teal, but I’ve found it goes well with so many variegated yarns that I use, that it’s become a must in my stash now!
I think the colour is GREAT, Patricia....and am LOVING the texture in your squares. :))
I love teal colour and it returns the favour by loving me. I am making a scarf in that colour at the moment.
Gorgeous, Gloria. That shade of blue is far more to my taste!
What a dreamy blue Gloria. Superb choice of stitches too, Thank You ✔️
My favourite shade of blue in beautiful patterns :))
What a pretty collection of textures, Gloria. This is a sweet shade of blue, and will look great in any blanket.
VERY pretty blue, Glo!!! LOVING the mix of patterns in the bottom square. :))
Love, love, LOVE this blanket, Sharon!!!
Just curious....is it all striped sections.....or self-striping yarn...to me it looks like a combination of both. :)))
