EDUCATE ME
Can we try and spark some interest and conversation through our crafting this month to help the children learn....?
Letters, numbers, small words, colours, shapes, animals and nature are all superb ideas to stimulate their brains.
The designs, colours and ideas can all familiarise items, words and colours to aid their
memories and make them feel clever and happy.
The colour of the month for our PJ's is BLUE
which is a great colour to represent water, the sea and sky in our work.
It has also recently been suggested that BLACK and WHITE squares are needed by the volunteers at The Barn In South Africa.I'm looking forward to seeing your imaginations run wild as you post any makes for us all to be inspired by too.......Hats, handwarmers, squares and blankets are what are really needed.

Made three plain janes in plain garter stitch, lol, in this beautiful blue color called "Ocean" by Caron for March color of the month. My phone couldn't even capture the right spirit of the color, which has hint of turquoise, my favorite color btw :)

Yes, cameras can be a bit tricky, eh?!
If turquoise is your fave colour, you will be in heaven in July. I think that is CoM, then....but I would have to check. :))

A girl after my own heart Kiran. PJ squares are an essential in blankets to help showcase jazzy or detailed squares. This colour of blue is lush too.... I have some to photograph very soon in the same tone ❤️

A couple of different examples of blue garter stitch knitting. 6 in cotton and 7 in a doubled up 4 ply mix with grey.
2 suggested white squares for the Christmas blankets - both DK wool, L = bean square (no 10 of 35) and R= waffle square (no 32 of 35).

Karen, you're squares are lovely. And white ones, too! Good for you :) I love your Entrelac Square, and I applaud you for seeing it through to completion!! I have often been tempted to try an entrelac pattern and after reading your account of knitting this one, I'm thinking I'll give this one a ... pass ... hahaha ... xo
