EDUCATE ME
Can we try and spark some interest and conversation through our crafting this month to help the children learn....?
Letters, numbers, small words, colours, shapes, animals and nature are all superb ideas to stimulate their brains.
The designs, colours and ideas can all familiarise items, words and colours to aid their
memories and make them feel clever and happy.
The colour of the month for our PJ's is BLUE
which is a great colour to represent water, the sea and sky in our work.
It has also recently been suggested that BLACK and WHITE squares are needed by the volunteers at The Barn In South Africa.I'm looking forward to seeing your imaginations run wild as you post any makes for us all to be inspired by too.......Hats, handwarmers, squares and blankets are what are really needed.
Happy crafting members, Karen xx

Wow, Ada's squares are beautiful.
Those dice squares really are lovely - and quite inspiring.
This month I am trying to get some knitted items made for a craft stall to raise money for the vet fees for some allotment cats - they live on the allotments and sleep at night in the allotment association meeting room or one of the sheds on the allotments. They are having an open day and there will be a craft stall there. I know I had a pattern for a little knitted ball make up of 6 panels somewhere on my computer. Can I find it now? Can I boot!
Anyway, once I have found it an got some knitted I may have a go at the dice spots.
Kiran your crocheting looks very neat. I applaud your ideas too. Thanks also for doing a couple of black squares X
Wow! You have been busy, Kiran. :))
Especially loving the bottom right squares...the colours look GORGEOUS together!!
Kiran, I love all your squares with their coloured centres. I'm glad to see you've made some black ones, too. I find it difficult to work with black wool because of my eyesight, so it's nice to see others picking up on that 'challenge' :)) xo
All of your squares are beautifully made and the colours go so well together Kiran :))
I do like the colours with the gresurrounds - rather like a spring flower bed in the centre of the laen.
WOW! Karen, what a great theme you have going on. I can already see so many great blankets, counting squares, colorful squares, the much-needed black squares and white squares. A total feast for the eyes.
I do have things in the works for you, but am also struggling to finish up last months work. I think I need to re-adjust my expectations of what I can accomplish.
I loved your introduction, too, and was thrilled to see my school bus square from 2013! You really did a deep dive to find that one. Good on ya, girl.
Meanwhile you keep knitting at lightning speed, as you always do, and I will keep plugging along at sloth speed.
Wow!! It's a STUNNER, Amy....thanks for sharing.
This astounding. It must have taken loads of effort to organise, let alone crochet. Thanks for showing it to us Amy + Well Done Nica R ⭐
