So pretty, Karen!  Love the color and that texture will add so much interest and warmth.

These look lovely and soft, Karen. Love the delicate blue and white combination.

Here is another BLO sc mitre square.  This time I remembered the stripes at the beginning ... xo

Clever lass - this is pretty!

I'm going to have to try one of these striped ones now rather than cheating with self-striping yarn - your pink ridges stand out so clearly, Gloria.

Great idea, Patricia.  But there's nothing wrong in "cheating" with self-striping or variegated yarn.  That's one of my favorite kinds of yarn :)

I was thinking as I was making this square, I wonder if Bev will think there's too much pink in this one.  Then I thought, Whoa!  Not likely!!!!"  hahahaha ... xo

There can NEVER be too much pink, Glo!!

Those pink ridges just bring a little something extra... LOVE it!!

Ooooh, it looks delicious, Gloria!

Marion has posted squares in the past using Squared Waffle Stitch, which I rather liked the look of. Turns out I liked it so much I made a whole blanket with it!

Wow, Patricia, this is fabulous!  Such pretty colors and a beautiful gift for a child.  Thank you! ... xo

Well done with this New To You crocheting.    Your blanket is a stunner Patricia.   I'm actually almost finished a set of knitted Waffle stitch squares thanks to the beautiful blanket Sandra Jones made recently.    There's a great sentiment in complimenting others by following their examples.  X

I agree, Karen, although both Marion and Sandra set the bar rather high!
