May has been a very busy month for distributions. The cooler weather has arrived and it is time to bundle up little ones with KAS warm blankets.

The weeks and waiting and waiting finally paid off on May 16. This photos shows you what our volunteers discovered when they entered The Barn. There was so much post that we had to leave two bags at the Post Office to be picked up for the following week.
More that 12 months have passed since the first shipment of these lovely blankets from Sandra in Australia. Liz, Audrey and Elaine were so happy to unpack the box and show us that they made it to The Barn safely.
This month we also have a photo series from Estelle of some of her favorite photos from KAS over the year. Ronda shares with us important things that happened to KAS on May 16.

Monthly totals:
During APRIL we recorded 164 parcels containing 9.229 squares, equal to 263 blankets.
Many other items were received, such as hats, hand-warmers, cuddly toys and other goodies.
