You're welcome, Diana ;)  It always feels good to get the news out each month and to know our members enjoy it ... xo

Thanks Glo, a great Snips full of info and fun!

Glad you approve, Chris :)))  Thanks for your input ... xo

A truly interesting edition. I hope the puzzles become a big hit.

Thanks, Valerie.  Me too re the puzzles.  We worked hard on them so we're hoping the puzzlers will enjoy them ... xo

Thanks for a super edition,Glo

I do hope members will comment here if they've tried the puzzles.  I confess, I got stuck on a couple of words in the KAS KONUNDRUM and had to cheat by looking at the answer page. Both puzzles were great fun.

Now I am having 'brain strain' trying to think of a KAPTION for the contest....  stay tuned....

Oh Anne, I'm thrilled you've tried the puzzles!!!  Thank you for letting us know :))

Now I can't wait for your "kaption" ... xo

Another grand Snippets.  It is lovely to read all the news and my first squares have arrived safely - hurrah!  Just about to mail my next parcel.  Thank you. :)

Sue, thank you :)) Good news about your squares arriving safely.  Even though we know our work will get to to S.A., it's always reassuring when we find our names on the list ... xo

Thanks for a lovely KAS-Snippets Gloria ... we do very much appreciate all the time and energy that goes into everything that is done for us by our marvellous members, contributors and mods overseas !  This morning, aside from having my hearing aids refurbished and my eyes tested (that should tell you how ancient I feel today !) I have dropped off 4 bags of bankets, beanies and handwarmer sets for transport to Zimbabwe tomorrow - directly to the Chimanimani area most badly affected by Cyclone Idai more than a week ago.  It is a disaster area ... so many people missing and believed lost to their families for ever.  My friend Angeleen from church is waiting for news of two family members not heard from or seen since the cyclone hit - and hundreds of thousands of people are affected in this same way.  If you are a praying person, please lift up the people of Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi.  Thank you all - hugs from us all xoxoxoxo

Here are some pictures from Ronda for the Zimbabwe group.

Thank you, Ronda.  I hear you about that "ancient" feeling ... but only because I've just put fresh batteries in my own hearing aids ... lol

Such sad news regarding the devastation from Idai, but heartening to know that Knit-a-Square is able to offer something in the way of comort to those who need it.   We will definitely keep these folks in our thought and prayers ... xo

CREATECARE GLOBAL

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."

Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
