SUNRISE TO SUNSET
June 2017
So many things to see in your day from sunrise to sunset. Each of us in this world -wide KAS family will have different things we see during our day. Any of them can be inspiration for a square for a child. Don't forget the PJ's, they can be made in the colours of your day. Here a few ideas to give your creativity a start !
There is the sunrise to welcome the day.
The traffic on the way to work.
Break with a book .
A butterfly on a flower. I couldn't resist our lovely monarch butterfly for this picture.
Boiling the kettle for a cuppa or coffee.
A bird on a branch.
Do you have a friend who is always happy to see you?
The setting sun at the end of the day.
I hope you enjoy these ideas from sunrise to sunset, we would love to "hear" about your day !

Oh, Sweet Peas bring back memories of long, long ago when I lived in a climate where they grew. Your interpretation is perfect! Love that center panel --- almost a sunrise or sunset in sweet pea colors.

I have been working on this blanket for weeks, making very slow progress. Due to the colours I've used I'm calling it a Sunrise to Sunset blanket to fit in with this month's theme.

Fabulous blanket! I've just learnt C2C crochet and love it but I think this could be a bit beyond me for the time being. How clever you are Louise.

Thank you Claire, but I'm not clever, I can't follow a written crochet pattern so I make my C2C blankets by following a YouTube video.....this blanket took weeks to make, I used two stands of yarn, each row has White DK mixed with the coloured yarn. (I have sooo much donated white yarn to use up and don't like to make all white squares) If you make C2C squares or a blanket please upload a photo, it would be great to see your work. :)))
