Hello and warm greetings from Bonnie Scotland.    I'm not the best of knitters but I can knit squares and hats.   I'm now asking round friends and family for any odd balls of wool.    This will keep me out of the biscuit tin and its good to do something worthwhile.

  • Welcome Helen!

I am going to predict that with asking around for bits of wool you will very soon have plenty!  That seems to be the experience of KAS members, their family/friends want to help.

Do you have a favourite square pattern?  Mine is this one: http://square-circle-forum.ning.com/photo/albums/one-row-scarf-turn...  The link to the pattern is in my photo album description.

    Welcome again!

  • Welcome Anne !  I hope you enjoy making squares and hats for the children as much as I do.   Have you seen the February challenge ?   It is great to watch the bus fill up with happy, warm children.
