    Hi Rebecca

    Welcome....from over here in south-west WA. I live in a small country town that fairly regularly has the lowest minimum temp. for our state during Winter, but then I check the national forecast and see the temps for the ACT....you win!!!

    There's nothing like sitting back having a knit when its cold out. Please post some pics when you have made some squares.

    Happy knitting!!! Squares are the perfect item to practise on when you are just beginning and are great for using up bits and pieces of yarn.  :))

    Hello Rebecca, I'm also in Australia.
    This square will be just the first of many more. They are addictive! Nearly as bad as chocolate.

          will check out the mentioned groups...had the opportunity to visit New Zealand in 2012, and must say had a blast! Beautiful country and great seafood! My personal highlight was Milford Sound:)
