Hello everyone! I hope your all well. I am a bit of a newbie knitter but can manage squares and would love to help some children. My name is Kathleen and I am from Leeds in England currently a student and married with four cats! Lovely to be here knitting with you all!

Welcome aboard, Kathleen. We are so glad you have joined us. You are in good company - lots of cat lovers here on the forum!! We'll look forward to seeing photos of the squares you make, and don't worry about being a newbie knitter - simple 8" squares may be the most important thing you will ever make - each one will help to warm a child.

As Anne has already said, 8" squares are so important to the continued success of KAS.
Welcome to KAS Kathleen. Hope you have as much fun as I do, knitting for those lovely smiling little people.
