Welcome aboard, Kathleen.  We are so glad you have joined us.  You are in good company - lots of cat lovers here on the forum!!  We'll look forward to seeing photos of the squares you make, and don't worry about being a newbie knitter - simple 8" squares may be the most important thing you will ever make - each one will help to warm a child.

Great to have you join us...the more the merrier...and more children will be warmed.  :))

As Anne has already said, 8" squares are so important to the continued success of KAS.

Welcome to KAS Kathleen.  Hope you have as much fun as I do, knitting for those lovely smiling little people. We have some lovely challenges coming up and its great to follow the KAS reaches new heights for children challenge of the year.  There are some great photo's and some very inspiring people within KAS.  Have fun! :)

Hi Kathleen, mother if cats!
Am also a mother of cats, who knits and have one supervisor who rearranges my blanket layouts....
Squares are what it is all about - I will watch out for your squares when we open post on thursdays.
