Another year ends, but for Knit-a-square, this has been a very special year. We have been crafting and working together with Ronda and her wonderful volunteers to warm the orphaned and vulnerable children of South Africa for TEN years!
In a world weary of bad news, keeping a community vibrant and hopeful for the children and their carers over that length of time is an extraordinary feat. Let's celebrate it, and the end of one decade of hard work and commitment, while we look forward to the next.
This year we had to rebuild the website. It was quite a task and along the way the donation buttons ceased to work. Many of you wanted to donate but were unable to. They are now fixed and we thank you for your patience.
We have also created a beautiful calendar to celebrate our ten year anniversary. It showcases our themes for the year to inspire your crafting creativity and compassion.
We look forward to your support and to your wonderful contributions to the children's beautiful, cosy and warm blankets, hats, hand warmers and toys, all made with love.
