I probably had the same one, Bev!
Me too, Patricia. I’ve always admired her strength and spirit as she battled her illness over the years.
Yes, Grease has always been a favourite film in our house too, Rachel. My 30 year old daughter only recently went to a fancy dress party dressed as a Pink Lady!
That’s gorgeous, Patricia, in all my favourite shades. I’ve admired this pattern on Pinterest. How have you coped working with it in the heat? You must have been glowing!
Luckily I'd got most of the way through before the really hot weather struck, Marion. Then it was just a matter of picking my moments to finish it off. It did make me wonder, though, how members in countries that have these sort of temperatures regularly ever manage to make complete blankets. Do you all have air-conditioning?
Hi Patricia!
Your blanket is lovely! So much work, it must have taken quite a while..No,we don't have air-conditioning in our house. The summers are getting very hot in Germany. I usually work on just squares any way.But some days are too hot for crochet or knitting. I usually only work on my squares in the evening, so it's usually cooled down by then.
Fabulous blanket, Patricia! Love the colors and the design. Thank you for the link to the technique, which is always a good thing to know. I love learning new things.
Yes, we have air-conditioning. Here in Arizona, temperatures reach 113 F = 45 C on a regular basis. We love it when we are in the pool, but couldn't live without air conditioning otherwise. My brother-in-law says we better have good air conditioning or we will all be "poached like an egg". I hope we never find out.
Brilliant Patricia, you must have been carrying quite a few threads for this one.
Love all the purple/lavender shades
Another winner.
Absolutely DIVINE, Patricia!!! LOVE the colours, LOVE the design!!
No carrying over at all, Amy. Each colour block in worked individually, joining as you go.
