I am delighted to host another KAS monthly and there is something for everyone in this month's topic, Whatever your level of skill, let your imagination run riot with your choice of yarn, stitch, colour, pattern, texture, motif, and design to create squares, beanie hats, hand warmers and toys,
Here are just a few ideas to get your needles clicking, though members from the southern hemisphere will have their own interpretations of their gardens. Be inspired by the colours of nature. Remember that Plain Janes are the foundation of KAS blankets and we would love to reflect a riot of colour in the garden with both self-coloured squares and picture squares.
Help to create a garden of delights to bring colour, cheerfulness and warmth into the children's lives.
I look forward to seeing your contributions on the Forum.

Delicate floral colourways = splendid hues in a blanket, love it ❤️✔️
Patricia, the sweet pea colours are beautiful and I know what you mean about the scent..... my favourite in summer :))
Your blanket is as beautiful as the flowers, Patricia, in the way you have captured the colours.
Oh my goodness, I love, love, LOVE your blanket, Patricia!! The colours and colourways are divine!!
Exactly the colours of sweet peas. Gorgeous!
Wonderful, Patricia, I can almost smell the sweet peas, the colours are perfect.
What a great introduction to the theme!
A wonderful surprise! I have received a bonus of 105 squares - yes three blanket's worth - from Alice of Earlston Wednesday Club. She has been stuck at home, shielding during Lockdown, because of her age and vulnerability, but, I hasten to add, is absolutely fine. She has kept busy with these colorful contributions to KAS, I have photographed them in piles of the different colours - mainly plain janes and stripes.
Oooooo, what a fabulous rainbow of unexpected glorious knitting all super-neatly prepared and presented. Well done Alice and friends.......Superb!
What bounty, Susan, and such a worthwhile use of Alice's time. I hope she has plenty more yarn to keep her occupied!
Good on Alice! What a star and wonderful supporter of KAS. BEAUTIFUL squares.
Wow! Wow! and Wow! This theme is so beautiful. I love the introduction, and your fantastic Granny Squares, Susan, the evocative blankets by Chris and Patricia, friendly lion toys by Amy, and piles of squares by friends. What a great way to start a month.
I am the world's worst gardener, but love looking at all the beauty. If only I could keep things alive and growing. So here is my only attempt at gardening this year.
