I am delighted to host another KAS monthly and there is something for everyone in this month's topic, Whatever your level of skill, let your imagination run riot with your choice of yarn, stitch, colour, pattern, texture, motif, and design to create squares, beanie hats, hand warmers and toys,
Here are just a few ideas to get your needles clicking, though members from the southern hemisphere will have their own interpretations of their gardens. Be inspired by the colours of nature. Remember that Plain Janes are the foundation of KAS blankets and we would love to reflect a riot of colour in the garden with both self-coloured squares and picture squares.
Help to create a garden of delights to bring colour, cheerfulness and warmth into the children's lives.
I look forward to seeing your contributions on the Forum.

It was lovely to hear you on the podcast, Karen, a great episode.
Oh... Ha ha, thank you. I felt I waffled a bit, but maybe it was enthusiasm taking hold of me. Thanks for that pet X ❤️
I didn’t think you waffled at all, Karen, and came across as warm and passionate about a cause that is obviously very important to you. What are you going to do when you can’t get your stash topped up because you’ve given away your secrets to everyone and they’ve bought all their wool on EBay! Ha Ha!
Your square are so beautiful, Marion. I love the delicate pink flowers, and they stand out well against the strong green background. Thank you.
Marion, this looks like Crunch Stitch, which you mentioned a little while ago and which I was inspired to try myself. It is a lovely textured stitch.
It is, Patricia, I use it quite a lot. Some of the cheaper wool, while being soft, is on the thinner side and I find this stitch is ideal for that as it’s so textured. It’s good to be able to swap ideas for stitches and patterns between us all.
A beautiful set of squares Marion :))
Exquisite as usual Marion.
WOW Chris this is super. What a star you have in your Son - he has good taste, and knows/cares about what you like - my Son doesn't give a doodie apart from the fact that wool-womanship makes me happy ❤️
Makes me long for those gentle spring days, Chris. It's cold and wet and windy here today ... and we have to put the clocks back tonight.
