I am delighted to host another KAS monthly and there is something for everyone in this month's topic, Whatever your level of skill, let your imagination run riot with your choice of yarn, stitch, colour, pattern, texture, motif, and design to create squares, beanie hats, hand warmers and toys,
Here are just a few ideas to get your needles clicking, though members from the southern hemisphere will have their own interpretations of their gardens. Be inspired by the colours of nature. Remember that Plain Janes are the foundation of KAS blankets and we would love to reflect a riot of colour in the garden with both self-coloured squares and picture squares.
Some ideas:
Be inspired by a selection of squares made this year by KAS members.
Help to create a garden of delights to bring colour, cheerfulness and warmth into the children's lives.
I look forward to seeing your contributions on the Forum.
THANK YOU

So it was hubby keeping you busy. I was getting worried as you were not online in a while. Great work and not too, too many blues.
Thank you, Gloria (and husband) for giving KAS such a wonderful collection of squared, inspired by a meadow of wild flowers. Your squares show just what can be done with a lot of odds and ends of yarn.
Thank you, ladies. Mili, if I had been the one winding the odds and ends, I'm afraid the blues would have been all lumped together :)) My hands just seem to naturally reach for that color!
My dear hubby has a knack for blending colors, and I'm absolutely loving the way his choices are falling in the squares I'm making.
Susan, you're right! If you could have seen the bins of tangled bits we started with you never would have guessed that anything beautiful could come of it. Just goes to show you that you should never judge a book by its cover ... or a bin by its strings ... hahaha
I'll be working my way through these big balls of yarn for quite some time to come ... xo
A gorgeous selection of colours and patterns in your squares, Gloria. It’s good to see you back on the forum.
Beautiful and so many!
Well, Susan, if you hear someone complaining about the blue in your stash basket and in your squares, rest assured IT'S NOT ME!!! LOL I love your squares and your blues :))) ... xo
Thanks, Gloria - yes, I admit you were in my thoughts when I posted these!
I’m looking forward to seeing all your beautiful squares made up into a blanket, Susan. It’s going to be lovely.
Just love the colours Susan.
Sublime squares ❤️✔️
