I am delighted to host another KAS monthly and there is something for everyone in this month's topic, Whatever your level of skill, let your imagination run riot with your choice of yarn, stitch, colour, pattern, texture, motif, and design to create squares, beanie hats, hand warmers and toys,
Here are just a few ideas to get your needles clicking, though members from the southern hemisphere will have their own interpretations of their gardens. Be inspired by the colours of nature. Remember that Plain Janes are the foundation of KAS blankets and we would love to reflect a riot of colour in the garden with both self-coloured squares and picture squares.
Some ideas:
Be inspired by a selection of squares made this year by KAS members.
Help to create a garden of delights to bring colour, cheerfulness and warmth into the children's lives.
I look forward to seeing your contributions on the Forum.
THANK YOU

Thank you for your kind comment, Karen. Yes The green and pink Images are from my garden. The row of delphiniums was taken in a much larger estate garden, near my home, that is open to the public certain times of the year under the Scotland’s Garden Scheme.
GREAT colour combos in your diagonals, Susan....and you have a BEAUTIFUL garden. :))
Two lovely flowers, Patricia, that stand out so well against the green background.
Oh how lovely, two of my favourite wild flowers :))
Oh of course, Chris, I suppose serious gardeners wouldn't think of these flowers as a "delight". We'll have to find a little corner of the garden to make a wildflower area!
This is superb Patricia. A very clever idea and such rich colour choices.
Aww, I LOVE poppies and daisies.....I especially love the everlasting daisies that you can dry. Poppies remind me of my Grandma's beautiful garden, when I was a child. She was a keen gardener...sadly I don't take after her....lol.
LOVING your colourful square, Patricia. Your daisy, in particular, is soooo pretty.
My Grandad used to grow everlasting flowers, Bev. I'd forgotten about those - I haven't seen any for years.
A lovely bright and beautiful square Patricia.
All soooo beautiful, Susan. You certainly have a flair for combining colours and making them pop!!!
My fave is the second from the bottom. :))
Now, if you had some pinks and purples just lying around in your stash........no pressure....just sayin;..... hahaha.
