My husband only found out this weekend how big my yarn stash is. He did freak a little and then went out and bought me 5 boxes to put it all in, unfortunately he hasn't seen everything I couldn't fit into them yet. MORE BOXES NEEDED! Buying yarn is such fun, all those beautiful colours and types! I just can't help it. I must remember the next time I'm tempted to buy yarn that I could send the money to Rhonda instead!
Me too, Claire. I just hide the boxes in the cupboards of the spare rooms now....lol. No more yarn buying for me....well not today, anyway....and I must remind myself to donate not crate (more yarn)...... yarn buying is my one and only vice.
I definitely brake for yarn shops, Chris....and if hubby is driving, and there are no parking bays, I get him to stop and let me out and then he can go find a spot....when looking at/for yarn, there is not a second to lose......lol.
I've asked for a workshop (shed) in the garden as I've run out of space in the house and garage.....we just can't agree on what size shed I need...the bigger the better in my opinion!!
True. No more tiresome mowing the grass. It's a win-win situation.
I agree Louise! Or maybe two?
Love it!! I'm hoping that we don't have any overnight visitors as our spare bedrom is my stash annexe at the moment. My husband has just added a new set of shelves to our store room, but there's no way everything will fit in. The only place I haven't invaded yet is the attic. This is only because I suffer from something called paroxistic positional vertigo and the stairs up to the attic rooms are too much of a problem for me. But I'll ind a solution to that if I can!!!!
I recently had a new bed, to make things easier following surgery, so certain measurements were obviously important. When my son saw my list of measurements, he queried the need for space under the bed........ then it dawned on him, it was the space I needed for my yarn boxes to fit underneath :)))
He made a comment that at least it would all be in one place now...... then he saw my face! I then showed him the rest of my stash, just in case I need help to access it!
LOL Chris.....it's amazing how creative we can be when it comes to finding space/storage for our yarn.
I suggest a HUGE shed, Louise......'cos whatever size you get, you'll always manage to fill it. :))
The Donate button provides 2 options:
Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:
1. Make a donation whenever you are able.
2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).
3. Shop at the KasShop!
