I want to puke!!!!...........and should hubby ever learn how to turn on a computer and read this......IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!!
That is so TRUE, Jeanne. Exactly my reaction!!!!
LOL, totally agree,
That's so funny, but a little too close to the truth for comfort.
I've regularly confused the remote with the cordless telephone as both are black and a similar size;.
This is definitely something I can relate to ... hahaha xo
My MiL has made this mistake too. She also tries to turn the TV channels over using a torch...when it doesn't work she thinks the batteries in the TV remote control are flat.
I have regularly done this with the tv remote !
I don't know how many of you follow podcasts, but I thought I'd share a great discovery I made at the start of the year. There is a lively community of knitters, spinners, dyers and knitwear designers in the States, many of whom share their passion for yarn and knitting in fascinating conversations via the internet. For those who have never listened to a podcast, it's like listening to the radio—which, of course, is great company if you're working with your hands and on your own. There is a podcast app on the iPhone, or you can look up iTunes or Stitcher and follow your favourite shows that way. My current favourites are Actually Knitting, The Backstage Knitting Podcast, The Yarniacs and Two KnitLit Chicks, although you can find more using the search feature. Also, I recommend subscribing to the podcasts you like so that the latest episode will be automatically downloaded to your smart phone. Podcasts have changed my entire knitting experience by expanding my awareness of how yarns and patterns are produced, who exactly supports the industry and how much enthusiasm there is for using our craft to do good in the world.
Hi Leanne thank you for this. I am familiar with podcasts but didn't know about the programms you mentioned. Sounds good! I listen to the radio too while crafting, watching TV is too much for my eyes. One eye 10% sight, the other one is fine but I have to take care. My good eye has to work hard, beside that, radio is relaxing. Thank you so much, wish you a wonderful day, hugs for you and hugs for your sweet guide dog xoxo
Thanks, Annike! I hope you enjoy the podcasts! They are very entertaining.
