I found this variegated yarn but it was kind of difficult to work with, nonetheless made two squares which I am sure will be very warm in a blanket.

They do look cozy and warm, Kiran.  Thank you for persevering with a difficult-to-use yarn.  A child will be grateful for them :)  I like the lovely "stripe" around each one ;) ... a green and a navy blue (?).  Very nice ... xo

Your leftovers always make the prettiest stripes, Karen!   Such a great way to "waste not, want not" as my Grandma used to tell me :))  These are sure to brighten up a child's blanket ... xo

Thanks - sometimes I knit them in, but if not, I must admit I force myself to sew them in as soon as I finish every square X
