WOW Marion, these are fantastic!  Your work is always so neat ... your squares are just sooooo square ... haha  I love this pattern in 2 colours, and your two colours here are perfection ... xo

I rather like the daisy effect in the centre of the top squares, Marion, but all are gorgeous.

These are strikingly beautiful!

I agree with Patricia....I LOVE the sweet little flower effect in the centre.  :))

Such pretty squares, Marion.  :))

Love these -  I prefer the top 3 as they present.

4 Chain stitch squares with different appliqués and a Mini C2C Heart with a chain stitch border. I usually sew the heart onto the square but this time I actually worked the fancy yarn in C2C just using 2HDC as it was quite a bit thicker. It’s a bit difficult to find where to place the stitches at first but I’m pleased with how it turned out and will definitely do it again.

What absolutely delightful squares you have created, Marion!  So beautiful :)  The children will be so blessed to receive a blanket with one or more of these gems.  Thank you! ... xo

Estelle must so look forward to receiving your parcels containing sets of squares, Marion - she's probably planning a layout already!

LOVING the colour combo you have used for your squares, Marion.....but also, I am in ABSOLUTE awe of your ability to crochet a pic into the square using that dreaded fuzzy yarn. I have tried to duplicate stitch a heart into a square using that yarn, many moons ago and gave up after about the second row...haha. The only way I can use it is in stripes with ordinary yarn.

I noticed Sue Leverton made some fuzzy teddies in her knitted blanket a few days back, too. You ladies are both very talented and have great patience and skill.  :))

You’re quite right Patricia I do look out for Marion’s parcels but it’s the luck of the draw who gets to open them. You’re spot on I can visualize a blanket surrounding those fabulous squares.
We distributed some of your magnificent blankets this morning at the Lion Park Informal Settlement I particularly love the soft “ice cream” one. I’m sure they’ll be posted in the next couple of days. I’ll be looking out for your unicorn blanket next and the soft toy to go with it….just forgotten who sent it.

It was Karla who made the unicorn toy, Estelle.
