Dreamy colours + loads of texture, love these. Bravo G Xx
Oh my goodness, Kiran, please don't be so hard on yourself! This is a lovely square. It's warm, it's a beautiful colour and has a super texture for a child to touch. When several of It's friends surround it, it will be a "honey" of an addition to a blanket ... xo
Thanks Gloria! Hopefully it will be surrounded by your TC squares :)
You've done a GREAT job of your honeycomb square, Kiran!! It will be a welcome textural experience for the child who receives it. Do you have the pattern, please?....and was it 'difficult' to make?
Thanks Bev! The pattern was very easy in fact, here you go:
Cast on odd number of stitches
Row 1 (RS): all knit
Row 2: k1, *slip 1 purlwise with yarn staying in the back, k1, rep from *, with k1 at the end
Row 3: all knit
Row 4: k2, *slip 1 purlwise with yarn staying in the back, k1, rep from *, with k2 at the end
Repeat the 4 rows until you reach the desired size.
Have fun. Its just little tricky to keep track of whether you are on row 2 or 4.
I'll have to give this a try, Kiran. I seem to be getting back into knitting quite a bit lately.
Well now, Kiran, wouldn't that be nice :) I'm sure that wherever our squares land, they will be in the perfect spot ... xo
Beutiful pattern in a lovely warm colour :))
Very clever Kiran. A stitch to make note of for sure ✔️
Wonderful bright squares, Kiran. Just what I need today. It's been overcast and drizzling ever since I woke up, so I'm happy to find these sunny squares. They're all beauties, but I'm drawn to the blue one, and the bright yellow and red ones. Thank you ... xo
