With A - ch 5, join with sl-st to form ring.
Row 1: Work 8 sc in ring, break off A, join B, sl st in first sc.
Row 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in same place as ch-3, 3 dc in each sc around, sl st in top of ch-3.
Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same place as ch-3, 3 dc in each dc around, sl st in top of ch-3, fasten off.
Row 4: With B, sl st on top of any dc, ch 1, sc 1 into space between dc. *ch1, sc 1, on top of next dc, ch1, into next space* all the way around. Sl st into the next (first) ch1. Endwork.
Sew flower to center of granny square.
