DECEMBER THEME - Stash Busters, Easy Peazies, Plain Janes and Other FavoriteS!

Welcome to December! We've made it to the last month of the year and are all getting busy with various holidays and time spent with friends and loved ones. Time to clean out our stash baskets and use up those bits and bobs in colorful squares, so we can all go out and get new yarns for the coming year of knitting and crocheting to help keep the children warm! Time to relax with an easy plain Jane and a cup of warm tea or cocoa. Time to reflect on the beauty of the blankets we've helped create, and ponder on new ideas for the coming year. Bless all the wonderful world-wide KASers who work so diligently to warm the children!

Thank you, Susan, for hosting what is for some of us, the busiest month of the year.  :))

It is indeed a time for reflection....and how better to do so, than with a pj on your needles or hook??!!

I LOVE your cluster of squares.....pretty colours.....love the variegated.

Okay.  I managed to upsize one of the squares ...

And guess what else I found (she said sheepishly :).

Remember last December ... you know, the mini challenge someone organized for us?  Awwww, come on, you remember!  Anyone who joined in had so much fun!  I can see you smiling 'cause you do remember.  Yup!  That's the one :)

Well ... while I was being "challenged" to make an illusion square, I also made a tiny one and thought I would upsize it later.  Ummmm ... is it later yet?  I guess it is.  This centre square is only 1 year old, and I was lucky enough to find the exact burgundy sparkly yarn I had used when I made it.  So here it is ... from last year and this year ... an illusion heart :) xo

And here is my tree :)

Will you share yours? xo

Gloria, I admire your illusion tree very much, but haven´t got enough time to learn this technique yet. I am going to do it later...Now I am sharing this square /40x40/ with my favourite double knitting tree.
