Fabulous, Karen. Do you keep a record of how many hats you've made altogether (so far!)?

I do -  350 so far!    I like to target an awkward, irregular or fine wool type + mix it with toning wools.    At the moment it so happens I had a few pale white dotty or mixed wools which are no good to be used on their own, so mixing those with a bolder DK colour is perfect for hats.

That's remarkable. I was surprised to see that I've made 54 over the years. I tend to go months without making hats and then feel the urge to do something different. I'll set myself a target to get to 60 by this time next year!

I'm the same really.    I tend to enjoy doing quite a few things the (sort of) same, and also easier tasks + projects to knit when in company etc.   It does make for a bit of a messy knitting space with balls,  needles + bags, but I thrive on getting through so much ❤️

A REALLY pretty collection of hats, Karen....LOVING all the variations you have achieved.  :))

If I remember correctly, I knitted four hats when I first started knitting for KAS...and I haven't knitted any more since.  :))

Bev, you've been such a constant and gifted contributor in so many ways that I wouldn't belittle your hat contribution.  And the signature 'ha, ha', where would we be without it?

Bev, that’s two more than me!

That’s a fantastic amount, Karen. I always like the mix of colours in your hats.

Your hats are always super Karen, these are no exception, they are gorgeous :))

I love your hats very much especially those on the very left.

Pat's blanket is fabulous! We love your hats Karen the colours are always super and they fit beautifully. Thank you.

This one definitely comes into the 'better late than never' category - it's been a work in progress, on and off, for rather a long time!
