Aww, Bev, your counting squares are so sweet.  I love those pink owls.  Did I just say that???  Oops ... hahaha ... xo

Another flower for Garden Delights. I believe this is the same pattern as the centre section of Amy's gorgeous 16" Circus Tent Square but I finished it off early to make an 8" square.

What a BEAUTIFUL collection of colours, Patricia...nicely melded in this lovely pattern.

What a fabulous selection of squares and blankets so far this month...Sandra's blanket, Gloria's illusion squares, Chris's variegated squares, Patricia's Christmas square, Karen’s PJ's, Sharon’s blankets, Bev’s counting squares and Marion and Amy’s picture squares from last month - they are all brilliant! We have been concerned that some of your parcels haven’t reached us yet.

A beautiful square Patricia.   Love the soft green accents next to the intense colors.

Patricia, what a beautiful square!  I don't know if it's because of the colors or the pattern, but this is a happy square!  xo

One of the most beautiful things about KAS is - it's never too late!

My Illusion Square. I can never resist an opportunity to try a new pattern.

That’s gorgeous Patricia - such a fresh green.

Ooo, yes!   I like this one too.  I put this on my to try list but have had a hectic weekend with no knitting for a few days.   Smashing effect with 2 colours and this stitch.

Absolutely perfect, Patricia!  What a great square and the colors are lovely.  Well done.

Whenever I see these illusion squares I think about what a treat it must be for a child to receive a blanket and then, sometime later have a second, third, fourth look and realize there's something different when he or she looks at it a certain way.  Just makes it a bit interesting for them :)))

A Beautiful square, Patricia.   It really shows the illusion pattern well, and looks so fresh and cheerful.  Great pictures showing the effect, too.

I totally agree with Gloria's comment that these squares can be fun and interesting for a child.   Anything that stimulates an extra brain cell to fire is a plus in my book.
