My-O-my Sharon this blanket is very clever and unusual.   You're powering away with your hook these days, great! Kx

Love this!  An idea I might just have to copy ........ :)

Thank you, all, for such kind comments.

Lesley, Please do copy.  The sincerest form of flattery, as they say.

Maybe you can find a better way to do the corners.   The original pattern had a 1/4 triangle on each corner, but it was a square blanket.   When I made it a rectangle, the 1/4 triangles only worked on 2 corners, so I used two 1/2 triangles on the others.   Let me know if you have a better idea, please.

It looks perfect to me, fabulous work, Sharon.

A beautiful blanket Sharon, I love this idea, it’s very effective :))

Very interesting blanket.  It is like a piece of art

Sharon, you must be very pleased with the way this blanket turned out!  It's absolutely gorgeous :))) ... xo

Absolutely fabulous Sharon!

Well, Patricia, I'm still using up the bits of yarn that my sweet husband 'magic' knotted together for me.  I haven't come across anything yet where I didn't love the way he has combined the colours :)

The dark one here is actually the tail end of a beautiful yarn that a sweet friend sent me.  Recognize it, Amy?  I thought I had used it all so I was extremely pleased to find a tiny little ball of it left!  I actually had almost enough to make a whole square.  As a matter of fact, I was just 3 stitches short and had to add a bit of something else to complete it and create the tail for sewing :) ... xo

It's a shame you can't lend your husband out, Gloria. I'm sure a lot of members would make use of his services!

Oh Patricia, you are too funny!  I must confess there are times I would willingly lend my hubby - give him, even ;)  But most times I am as possessive of him as I am of my beloved yarn stash ... hahahaha ... xo

A LOVELY bunch of squares, Glo...think my fave is the top right.  xo
