It looks complicated, but is actually a very easy pattern to follow. I'm only a beginner knitter, and I followed the pattern as written without any trouble, except that I had a hard time deciding on all the colors. I simplified my choices by deciding to use the bright green in the middle of all the "bowties", and used the same grey and white combination for all the "railroad tracks".
It was a fun pattern to make."
