So many pretty blankets. Love the granny square ones and the one with the stripes of fluffy yarn.

I'm drawn to the geometric patterns second from bottom. I think this is a style I may have to investigate.

I’m intrigued by the patterns on that one too, Patricia, I was thinking it might be perfect for Susan’s Two Colour Challenge.
So many colourful blanket pictures posted to see and admire, thanks Patricia.

The yellow/black blanket (second from bottom) is using the 'mosaic crochet' technique.  Not my blanket.  Here is a link to the technique.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTigdTvdTLQ

Milk, is that hard or just time consuming.  I love the look of the mosaic, but every time I start that video I shake with fear over all those ends.

Love the different designs that you used on your squares. Amazing work.

Mili, thank you so much for giving us this link.  What an interesting... and surprisingly easy-looking... technique!   I love being inspired by the photos that are shared on our forum.  Receiving instruction is an added bonus ... ☆

Amy, I'm shaking with fear right along with you ... haha  However, I might give it a try just to say I did it.  You? ... xo

Thanks for the link, Mili. It’s a very interesting video and she’s great at explaining it. I’m definitely going to try it at some point. I’m very taken with the idea of a double border to hide all the ends.!

Marion,   Like you, I liked the idea of a double border to enclose the ends.    I had seen a video sometime back, and wanted to remember it.   Here is a link that might be helpful in learning the technique:

Ophelia Talks CROCHET An ENCLOSED DOUBLE Border and NO ENDS TO SEW ...

If, you try it, please let us know how it works.

Thanks Sharon. I’ve always wanted to try the Apache Tears Pattern but never attempted it because the sight of all those ends gave me the shivers! I might be tempted to give it a go.

Oh, yes, those ends!   I made one Apache Tears square, a long time ago, and I don't even mind weaving in ends, but that was a bit much, and ended up making the edges of the square a bit thick.   So I think the special border is the way to go.   I've also seen them called and Enclosed Border or an Envelope Border.

Can't wait to see what you make .... but No Pressure!

Number 11 in this group is just lovely - I am very impressed with it.

The final batch of photos from the 19th January opening.
