Patricia, lovely to see all the blankets and lovely to see your joy for your posted blankets.
Thanks, Mili, although my two look a bit out of place in amongst all those squares!
I see some of your squares Patricia with (possibly) some of mine.
Well spotted, Karen. Mine are quite unusual but you can never be absolutely certain with stripes. I hope ours are together!
Mentally looking through sets of blankets I try to make notes in my head ie. Do more stripes, do more diagonals, try that stitch, try that texture. A vertical smorgasbord of choices.
Like you, Karen, I look at these beautiful blankets and try to remind myself to make more stripes, diagonals, or whatever. They are so inspiring.
I am beginning to think that the Not-A-Square blankets are my favorites! The construction is just so perfect. Well done to those talented ladies. (Don't worry, I'm not planning to purposely make misshapen squares just to test your skill, however.)
Patricia, thank you for these photos! I especially like the way the 'not-so-square' and odd-shaped squares get used to create such interesting blankets! It sort of reminds me of something my mother used to say ... "A place for everything and everything in its place" :))
I agree with Karen - a fabulous assortment of inspiration :)) ... xo
