What an incredible display!!! So many beautiful blankets ... I love all of them - sport, animals, and shapes. The 14th one down (blue and yellow) is a gorgeous design. Well done and thank you Patricia and all who contributed to bringing us this "art exhibit" ... xo
BTW, the two little scamps with their hands in their pockets are mine. I'm thrilled to see they've landed in such a beautiful setting :)))
I'm grinning over here. Just look at those 3 froggies! And Santa, and hearts, and a truck carrying a tree? So much LOVE and such joy for the children. This really is an amazing group of talented and caring crafters. Thank you everyone for the photos ... xo
Thank you, Audrey, for making up this blanket from squares I knitted. I do enjoy this pattern for squares as it seems to knit up so quickly! Thank you too to Patricia for the new photos. Happy New Year to everyone. Jill
Is it the last one in Group A that's yours, Jill? I love that one!
Yes, Patricia. The last one in group A. I love looking at everyone's finished blankets and thinking of the children snuggling up in them! Here in Brittany, France, it is very cold tonight and I'm glad of a roaring log fire. South African winters with no warm blankets must be awful. I'll sit by the fire tonight and knit another square or two .....
I love the last one too, the pattern is so effective.
I’m chuffed to see my tractor and digger appliqué squares in a blanket :))
Each blanket is special. The lucky children who receive them may never know how much care or how many stitches went into creating them, but surely they will feel the love and hopefully know they are not forgotten. Thank you, Patricia, for posting these photos.
I love it when folks identify their work and share it with us. I always go back and double-check if I missed it. I enlarged and found your tractor and digger, Chris :) A real treat for a child to find one of your "picture" squares.
The sixth blanket down is a stunner ... imagine tucking in all the ends on that one! I love the design and layout of the last one, too. And all those beautiful PJs. Another benefit of making PJs ... any one of those squares could be mine :))) ... xo
I’d like to add my thanks to you, Patricia, for posting all the photos. That’s my penguin in the second picture. I’ve been lucky enough to see all my Christmas squares in this and previous photos, it’s always thrilling to see them in the finished blankets.
