Welcome to the Blanket Room for 2020.

We hope you will enjoy the variety of squares/blankets/designs

that will be featured throughout this year.

If you spy some squares or even a blanket or two that you have crafted

please do let us know.

There's nothing like a group celebration.  :))

We rejoice in your talents and generosity.

Here's a little taster of what you might see....

So, please keep your eyes peeled for your wonderful crafting and know that each and every square or blanket you create, is much needed and much appreciated.

Praise and many thanks to our sewing team who take our individual crafting, mix and match squares and sew these beautiful blankets together.

Group B

I've just realised this is the same as the last photo minus the arm!

Wow!  In group A I think my fav is the burgundy, grey and beige granny blanket.  In group B, um-m-m ... can't decide.  I love all those wavy lines :)  Thanks, Patricia ... xo

So many pretty blankets. Love the zig zag crochet ones!

Thanks, Patricia. I too like the pink, grey and beige and wondered what pattern was used. I also like the orange, blue and green with the matching hat in Group B, but they are all gorgeous.

Another fab selection like treasures in front of our eyes, thank you ❤️

What a fun group of blankets.   I really like the way the variegated yarns appear in the ripple pattern, with the solids around them.   Beautiful work.

A few more ripple blankets in this batch and some other unusual designs.

Group C

Another great group of blankets.   The red and white one seems simple on first glance, then you realize that they are all different textures, and it is fantastic.   Won't there be lots to explore for little fingers!

Group D

Gosh there are some really clever and striking creations in these 2 batches.   A lot of all-in-ones too.   Do you think this may be down to folk having more time to make whole blankets instead of individual squares etc as we couldn't post/mail.....   Whatever the reasons there's a load of love gone into each one ❤️. Thanks for the show!

Karen all the blankets from the middle of Group A in this batch are from FISCHER and SPOOR a Law firm in Pretoria. They brought us 50 blanket sets and toys. During Lockdown they collected and distributed blankets in the Pretoria area. They have supported KAS for many years with their beautiful blankets and generosity.

Thanks for that X. They're incredible ❤️
