Welcome to the Blanket Room for 2020.
We hope you will enjoy the variety of squares/blankets/designs
that will be featured throughout this year.
If you spy some squares or even a blanket or two that you have crafted
please do let us know.
There's nothing like a group celebration. :))
We rejoice in your talents and generosity.
Here's a little taster of what you might see....
So, please keep your eyes peeled for your wonderful crafting and know that each and every square or blanket you create, is much needed and much appreciated.
Praise and many thanks to our sewing team who take our individual crafting, mix and match squares and sew these beautiful blankets together.
That was the Fields and Furrows pattern that you put us onto, Gloria. It is so much fun to knit. And, I think it will be fun for the children, too. I looked back at my pictures and discovered it was from March 2018, almost 3 years ago! No wonder your memory wasn't too clear, Gloria!
Thanks Patricia for sharing the blanket room with us and thanks for remembering the blanket I made ‘for my sister’. I’ve spotted the ‘mint’ blanket I made for the sweets theme, I almost missed it, as colours aren’t as bright as the real thing.
It’s always great to spot other members work too :))
Jude did the snowman and the socking.
Love your holiday square Patricia.
Isn't it fun to see our work in The Blanket Room?
I spy my Snowman and Christmas Stocking, happy dance here in Purton, thanks Patricia. Chris’s memory blanket looks amazing too.
Well done, Jude. I knew you'd made some Christmassy picture squares but wasn't certain which were yours.
Jude, your picture squares are so beautuful and such fun for the children ... and for those of us who are all grown up but still children at this time of year :)) ... xo
I now have to make a Sleigh to keep up with Amy! If I make it now taking Covid into account Estelle should have it by Easter next year! Xx
Transportation for the Easter Bunny. Not a bad idea, Jude ... hahaha ... xo
Consider it done Glo! Xx
I love it ... cuz I'm just a kid at heart, too!
Chris, love seeing your special blanket here.
