Welcome to the 2019 KAS Blanket Room.  We invite you to view many of the wonderful blankets that are made from our crafters efforts.  Eight inch (20 cm) squares and completed blankets make their way to the KAS Barn and will eventually be featured on this discussion page.  We hope that you might see one of your creations.

Many thanks to the crafters, gogos and sewing warriors that sew the squares into blankets.

Happy Viewing

Love the one with the Owl picture and also the stripey ones, so eycatching. The minions themed one is really cool too.

Does anybody know how the striped blanket above the one above the red owl was made? The pattern looks like C2C but has been worked bottom to top. I'd try googling it but I don't know what to look up!

Patricia, I'm not a pro crocheter, but if I'm looking at the right blanket  it looks like it might be a shell pattern of some sort.  It's really very pretty .. xo

Well Patricia, I think I know. At first you make the middle part/C2C method/ and if it isn´t large enough you join as you go method the smaller parts.

Karla, I understand what you're saying but I think you may be looking at the blanket above the red owl whereas I mean the striped one above that.

I've been trying to investigate a bit and I've come up with a stitch called Side Lean Stitch which looks as if it could be the same. Is that something anybody is familiar with?

Karla, your blanket for your grandson is so beautiful - he's a very lucky little boy.

I love all blankets very much but the red owl´s one is so gorgeous!

They are all worth seeing again! Delighted to see my traffic blanket in this batch :))

I hoped you'd spot it, Chris.  :))

Patricia, this one I made for my grandson. I wasn´t sure you understood my previous  explanation so I took a photo better.

That’s delightful Karla.

This is beautiful Karla! Love the colours and the cute bear.
