Welcome to the 2019 KAS Blanket Room.  We invite you to view many of the wonderful blankets that are made from our crafters efforts.  Eight inch (20 cm) squares and completed blankets make their way to the KAS Barn and will eventually be featured on this discussion page.  We hope that you might see one of your creations.

Many thanks to the crafters, gogos and sewing warriors that sew the squares into blankets.

Happy Viewing

I love it when KAS sisters can spot each others work :)) When I looked at the same photo, I spotted 2 of your blankets Patricia....... but none of my own! When I looked again after your comment, I have 2 in the pile, the 3rd one down, a teddy blanket and the one you mentioned, a slice of Africa.... thank you for drawing my attention to it :))

The excitement never gets any less, does it Chris?

What a simply stunning collection! So proud to be a part of KAS!

And today's dose of delight, goes like this........

Not to be self-congratulatory, but ladies, WE ARE GETTING BETTER WITH AGE.  Fantastic blankets with some simple placements of stripes.

Such a dazzling collection. The first one is totally mind boggling§

There are 90+ blankets that I will share with you over the next few days from 19th March. With these pics comes this note from Ronda....

Blanket pics from 19th - mainly from gogo group Sisonke (Nani) in Orlando
East, Soweto.
Lovely to receive ready made blankets ... the PO don't seem to mind as much
as they did in the beginning.
Thank you ladies

Indeed, THANK YOU Ladies. THANK YOU, Bev!!!

Some more toasty warmth from 19th March.......

The last of the blankets from 19th March....

And these photos came with the following message.....the following from Estelle, Athele and others  - with one from Linda Maltby.

I actually think that #12 and #14 might both be from Linda.

Beautiful. Each and every square, each and every blanket!

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."

Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
