Wow, what a lovely riot of colour.  These blankets must have taken a lot of patience and love to create, using up all those little left over bits. Just goes to show that no scrap of yarn is un-useable!

This blanket is also an older one. The lovely 'waves' squares were made by Karen E and first posted to the forum in August 2013 as part of the August Challenge:

Here they are in a blanket that also includes some she posted in February 2014 .

Thanks for showing Karen's gorgeous 'lizard's ridge' squares sewn into a blanket. When my sister, Ros, first wanted to try this pattern, I think it was the top left square that I showed her, because I just LOVE the colours in that one.

Thank you Christine for posting sooooo many blankets pics.....they provide so much inspiration in both design and colour and encouragement to knit, knit, knit, crochet, crochet, crochet and loom, loom, loom.

Oh wow! Thanks for posting this Christine. On my first visit to the forum for a long time, I was looking at the blanket album and found this. I'm so thrilled, I think I can count about 14 of my squares in this blanket. I never expected to see this and it warms my heart as much as I hope it will warm a child.
